Fabric Scan uses advanced AI technology to analyze fabrics through your device's camera. Simply point your camera at a fabric, and the app will identify the fabric type, provide care instructions, and offer stain removal recommendations.
Yes! Images are processed locally on your device when possible. When AI analysis is needed, images are sent to secure third-party services (Google Gemini or OpenAI) and are deleted immediately after analysis. We never store your images on our servers.
The camera is essential for the app to function. We need it to capture images of fabrics for analysis. The app only accesses the camera when you actively use the scan feature.
While our AI technology is advanced, results may vary depending on image quality, lighting, and fabric characteristics. We recommend using the app as a helpful guide, but always verify care instructions before treating valuable fabrics.
Some features require an internet connection for AI analysis. However, you can view your saved favorites and history offline. For best results, use the app with an active internet connection.
All data is stored locally on your device. To delete your data, simply uninstall the app or use the app's settings to clear history and favorites. Since we don't store data on our servers, uninstalling removes all your information.
