How does the ancestry analysis work?
Our app uses advanced AI technology to analyze facial features in your photos and compare them with heritage patterns. The results are generated for entertainment purposes and provide insights into potential ancestral connections.
Is my photo data secure?
Yes! Your photos are encrypted and stored securely on your device. We do not share your photos with third parties. You can delete your data at any time from the app settings.
How long does it take to get results?
Different analyses have different processing times. Heritage Analysis takes up to 24 hours, while other analyses are typically ready within 5-9 hours. You'll see a countdown timer on each analysis card.
Can I use photos of other people?
You should only upload photos of yourself or photos for which you have explicit permission from the person pictured. Uploading photos without consent violates our Terms of Use.
Are the results scientifically accurate?
Roots Heritage is designed for entertainment purposes. While our AI provides interesting insights based on facial analysis, the results should not be considered as scientific or DNA-based evidence of ancestry.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store settings. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Roots Heritage, and select Cancel Subscription.
How do I delete my account and data?
To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at nous.appp@gmail.com with your request. We will process your request within 30 days.
