How do I analyze a car?
You can analyze a car in two ways:
- Take a photo of the vehicle using the camera
- Select an image from your gallery
- Enter the car model name manually
Our AI will provide detailed analysis including common issues, advantages, and disadvantages.
How does the AI mechanic chat work?
Tap the mechanic button on the home screen to start chatting. Ask any questions about cars, maintenance, or specific issues. Our AI mechanic provides quick, helpful answers based on extensive automotive knowledge.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store account:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select Car Scanner
- Manage or cancel your subscription
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel:
- Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Select Car Scanner
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices:
- Open Car Scanner
- Go to subscription/premium screen
- Tap "Restore Purchases"
- Sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find Car Scanner purchase
- Select "Request a refund"
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
Is the analysis accurate?
Our AI provides detailed vehicle information based on extensive automotive data. However, the analysis is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional mechanical inspection. Always consult a certified mechanic for important decisions.
How do I delete my data?
Your analysis history is stored locally on your device. To delete:
- Go to History screen
- Swipe left on any analysis
- Tap delete
Or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
